Uplifting The Lives Of PWDs

Did you know that 11.1% of Malaysians above 18 years old have disabilities? In fact, one in four Malaysian adults experiences functional difficulties in one or more of the following domains: seeing, hearing, remembering, walking, self-care and communicating. Our foundation arm, Yayasan Tan Sri Lee Shin Cheng (Yayasan TSLSC) aims to uplift the quality of life for persons with disabilities (PWDs) by providing both economic and social empowerment support, which will allow them to afford the dignity of a productive life – one that contributes to their families, communities, and society.
Mr Daud Bin Troki and Mr Mohammad Hafizz Bin Troki are grateful despite facing challenges in their daily lives. But life has turned for the better when Yayasan TSLSC donated RM5,000 to both disabled brothers to enable them to install a disabled-friendly toilet and rebuild their worn-out home in Miri, Sarawak, which was completed in April 2023.
