Six persons with disabilities (PWDs) demonstrated that disabilities do not define one’s potential. With persistence and determination, these PWDs from Dual Blessing Bhd nailed a six-month computer training course. It was conducted by four volunteer lecturers from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Sungai Long Campus in Kajang. IOI Foundation (formerly known as Yayasan Tan Sri Lee Shin Cheng) Executive Director Datin Joanne Wong cheered the six graduates alongside their proud parents at the graduation ceremony on 19 October 2023. Beyond just their certicates, they each got recognised for their amazing personalities. Mr Chong Ju Wei’s “I can do it” spirit earned him the Positive Attitude Award. How about Ms Lee Mei Xin and her mega-watt smiles? She bagged the Friendliest Award.
