Donations to SJK (C) Pei Cheng

Apart from our school children, IOIPG believes in empowering our youths to lead an active lifestyle. We supported the Majlis Sukan Sekolah Daerah Segamat contingent’s enthusiasm to participate in the state-level tournament at Pasir Gudang, Johor recently in August 2022 by donating RM1,200 of expenditure funds to Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Segamat. The youths came back, proud and rejoicing over their win of three gold, one silver and three bronze medals.
For most kids, school is the first setting where they learn to socialise with others, and schools are more than just classrooms as most also offer sports, clubs, and other extra-curricular activities. Children at SJK (C) Pei Cheng, Bandar Putra Kulai, Johor now stand to gain more from their schooling experience. Yayasan Tan Sri Lee Shin Cheng has presented a cheque worth RM1 million to the school committee, of which the fund will be channelled towards building the school’s multi-purpose hall.
IOI Properties Group Berhad (Johor) Chief Operating Officer Mr Lim Beng Yeang presented the donation to the school headmaster during a mock cheque ceremony, with students and the school’s board members witnessing the exchange that took place on 3 October 2022.
