Caring Hearts

Kind hearts have defied the current cost-of-living crisis to donate more than ever to Lovely Disabled Home (LDH) Charity Bazaar, which raised close to RM130,000, exceeding its target of RM100,000. The founder, Mr Lum Kok Kiang (middle) expressed his gratitude for the support which will be channelled to setting up a daycare centre that allows parents to temporarily accommodate their special needs children. Held on 20 May 2023, the bazaar featured 40 booths that sold delicious food, games, handmade handicrafts and many more. Founded in November 2005, LDH is a non-governmental and non-profit organisation providing job opportunities to the physically and mentally challenged individuals who are 18 years old and above.
