Lighting Hearts This Deepavali

What happens when IOI Foundation (formerly known as Yayasan Tan Sri Lee Shin Cheng) and Palm Garden Golf Club (PGGC) blend the festive joy of Deepavali with the excitement of the nation's fastest-growing sport? You get an unforgettable day filled with joy, confidence and cherished memories! By the end of 18 October 2024, 24 children from Pusat Jagaan Beribuan Kasih and Kebajikan Yesuvin Mahligai Selangor had mastered the art of pickleball under the expert guidance of President of the Putrajaya Pickleball Association, Coach Hussin Ali. These young ones aced this thrilling mash-up of badminton, tennis and ping-pong at the scenic courts of PGGC. Adding to the fun, this was their first group activity in three years! IOI Foundation and PGGC teams proudly cheered the kids' progress. To top it off, IOI Foundation Executive Director Datin Joanne Wong personally presented RM5,000 donations to each home. This memorable day wasn't just about the game - it was about bringing people together, building confidence and creating joyful moments that linger long after the final volley.
