Today's Youths, Tomorrow's Future

Youths are our future and our upcoming leaders! Youths are full of potential, dreams and energy. But how do they develop the leadership to excel and the passion to grow and persevere? IOI Foundation (formerly called Yayasan Tan Sri Lee Shin Ching) is building them for the future by helping them develop the skills for tomorrow at the 3D/2N IOI Youth Leadership Camp 2024. It was held at the beautiful Savanna Hill Resort in Johor from 29 to 31 May 2024 where 29 youths understood themselves and their peers better through the DISC personality test (check this out in our Learning Curve). Strong leadership, teamwork and problem-solving abilities are equally important traits, so activities like creating team pledges, flags, cheers and more were fruitful under the guidance of MAD Movement.
The camp was not just brains in action, there was plenty of physical fun too! Outdoor games like frisbee and low obstacle courses tested their agility and strategic thinking so everyone enjoyed a total blast under the sun. The youths also delved into IOI's core values and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, learning about ethical leadership and global citizenship. The highlight was the youths' inspiring innovative ideas in the sustainability project presentations, judged by IOI Foundation Executive Director Datin Joanne Wong, IOI Properties Group Berhad Johor Chief Operating Officer (COO) Mr Lim Beng Yeang and IOI Pan-Century Group COO Mr David Koo. Youths are our guiding hope so let us build and transform them!
